Order notifications 

Zonos supports a variety of email order notifications, for both you and your shoppers.

Notifications for shoppers 

Zonos can send email notifications to your shoppers on your behalf for a variety of events, such as providing order confirmations, tracking updates, and more. In order to enable this feature, you must first verify the email address you would like Zonos to use to send emails.

Types of order change emails

  • Order placed
  • Order cancellations
  • Order refunds
  • Order shipped
  • Tracking updates

Verify your email address

To verify your email so that Zonos can send emails to your customers on your behalf:

  1. Log into your Zonos Dashboard account.
  2. Navigate to Settings on the left sidebar, then under the “Account” section, click on** General.**
  3. At the bottom of the page, under the “Email” section.
  4. Enter your email then click Save.
  5. You will then receive an authorization email from AWS.
  6. You will be prompted to verify your email by clicking a link to authorize the use of this email address.

After you verify your email address, then you can enable and disable notifications to be sent to your shoppers.

To do so:

  1. Log in to your Zonos Dashboard account.
  2. Go to → SettingsCheckout settings.
  3. Scroll to the “Notifications” section and select which emails you wish to be sent out.
  4. Click Save.

Notifications for retailers 

Zonos supports a basic system for sending an email to one or more email addresses whenever an order is placed. These emails are different than the ones sent to your shoppers - this is mainly offered as an alternative to a direct API integration so that you can fulfill orders that are processed through Zonos.

To enable order notification emails:

  1. Log in to your Zonos Dashboard account.
  2. Go to Settings →** Checkout** settings → “Notifications” section.
  3. Enter the email addresses you want to receive notifications for in a comma-separated list.
  4. Click Save.
