Multiple restrictions on a shipment - REST

Understanding why multiple restrictions can apply to a shipment 

When using the item_Restriction API, there are scenarios where multiple restrictions can apply to a shipment. This will happen in cases where multiple country agencies have imposed different restrictions on an hs_code for import, or the item has hs_code restrictions that are applied at the chapter level (2-digit) and one of the lower levels (4-digit through 10-digit). This document will provide examples of these scenarios.

Multiple government agencies implementing restrictions on the same hs code 

In the scenario below, Macedonia (MK) has implemented three restriction_types for one particular HS code.

The response shows that the MKVA has placed a RESTRICTION on this item and the MKCA has placed a PROHIBITION on the import of this hs_code. The MKFVA has also placed an OBSERVATION in place for this import.

Import and export restrictions apply to items in the shipment 

There is a potential scenario where an item with anhs_code has eligible restrictions imposed by both the ship_from_country and ship_to_country. While this is plausible, no examples are available at this time.
